1/14/2011 Posted by Rebecca I am a former Employee of Prescott Country View Nursing Home. This was my first Job as a CNA/CMA in the state of Kansas. I just wanted to say Thank You too all of the staff that showed me what its like too work as a TEAM. It is very hard to find a community that really works together to make sure all residents/Employees are as Happy, Comfortable, and WELL taken care of as what PCVNH does. There is No I in Team and PCVNH really shows that. I miss all of you!!! This is a Place that I know I could call HOME... Thank You Teresa for giving me the opportunity to meet and work with the most wonderful staff ever! Great Job Everyone... KEEP IT UP:)
12/4/2010 Posted by Patti The staff at PCVNH are angels here on earth. My mother is a new addition to the family. I recently had the pleasure of attending their Thanksgiving feast, what a wonderful day that was. The food was delicious, but more importantly, that day showed the dedication of the staff. They created a happy, memorable day for the residents and their family. Every time I visit mom I leave with a "happy heart" knowing she is in loving hands.
Thank you is not enough for every thing the staff does. I am blessed to know such wonderful people.
9/30/2010 Posted by Vicki My mother has resided at Prescott Country View Nursing Home for several years and I feel that she has had a longer and better quality of life because of the excellent care that she has received there. The nursing staff have always kept our family informed with any health concerns, medication changes, etc. which is much appreciated. If you,or a loved one need excellent nursing care, this is a wonderful, clean and caring 'home away from home' atmosphere. Thank you so much, Prescott Country View!
12/18/2009 Posted by Bob Having been a recent customer of PCVNH, my mother recently passed away after an almost two year stay there. I can say that if you are looking for this kind of service to take care of a loved one, you COULDN'T FIND A BETTER PLACE! Everyone there seems to really care! They are quick to answer all your questions,or concerns about your family member in their care. the kitchen staff serve a wide variety of great meals, taking special care of those on special diets. They are in contact with atleast two Hospice services, Ottawa,
11/17/2009 Posted by Leona I would like to thank everyone that helped with my 25 years at PCVNH and the wonderful party that was given to me. I couldn't have done it without everyone from the community and staff and residents. I learned alot from them. So thanks again to everyone. Love Leona
2/5/2009 Posted by Joe & Jenny Joe's mother, Aileen, recently passed away after living at PCVNH for about three years, and my mother, Edna, still lives there. We have always been more than pleased with the care and love that both of them have received. PCVNH is a wonderful, very clean facility filled with a loving, caring staff. We would recommend it to anyone searching for a place for a loved one in need of "special" care.
1/21/2009 Posted by Darlene & Ray After our mother Ruby had been in another home for almost a year we luckily found out about PCVNH and transferred her to that facility. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The staff was so cheerful and always made us feel welcome. They were attuned to their residents and went above and beyond to keep them happy. Cleanliness was one of the things we noticed - both of the residents and the facility. Unfortunately Ruby only resided at PCVNH for about 6 months before she passed away but her life was so much better for doing so.
12/1/2008 Posted by Diane My Mother - Marianne - lived her final years very happily at PCVNH. She was known to spontaneously dance to music (a remnant from her young years as a ballerina), receiving frequent applause of other residents. She was cheerful and delighted in both helping and receiving attention from other residents. She loved the Prescott Staff who were always kind, sweet, and attentive to her. Her life was full and rich thanks to the angels at Prescott (they are not all in Heaven).
11/24/2008 Posted by Leona I have worked at PCVNH for 24 years mostly as the activity director. I have met many special residents and families through the years. Leona
